PASSION: Can you recall a time that you became more interested in a subject because of the teacher's enthusiasm?

I can think of two examples from this semester alone of times when a teacher's enthusiasm or love of a subject has shown through so much that it has positively affected my own opinion of that subject.  The first being my weaving course that I’m taking right now, when my professor talks about the subject for that day, no matter what it is you can see how much she wants us to really learn what she is trying to teach us.  You can tell how much she knows and cares about the art of weaving and textiles, which is pretty contagious, making you want to do well because she clearly cares whether or not you are succeeding.  The second is the French course that I’m in right now, it’s beginning French, so we are really starting with very basic things, but moving pretty quickly.  However, she really focuses on speaking the language while we are in class, moving around the room, helping us to understand what words and phrases mean, and being so excited when we get answers to her questions right.  Even more excited when we actually pronounce them correctly! It really makes you want do better and try harder in a subject when you know that your teacher or professor is going to be excited for you when you make even the slightest of accomplishments.
